TRAIN WITH US TO BECOME A FLIGHT ATTENDANT!!

The global airline industry continues to undergo change for the better, however, the one constant is the need for highly trained flight attendants to satisfy the growth in aircraft fleet and expanded route structure of emerging carriers, and support their needs into the future.

BEING a flight attendant provides a glamorous, profitable and personally rewarding career combined with the opportunity to visit exotic locales worldwide, meet new people and advance your personal status.

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT

BECOMING a flight attendant requires in depth training both from private academies and the airlines, and requires that the potential candidate possess certain qualifications.

MINIMUM industry training standards for flight attendants are mandated by the International Civil Aviation Organization, the governing body for airlines worldwide. Each airline however, builds on these basic regulations, with the JAR EU Operational (Joint Aviation Regulations Euro) standards, being the prime standard for flight attendants worldwide. Within these JAR (and other jurisdictional regulatory agencies) regulations are qualifications that need to be possessed by the potential candidate in order to qualify for training as a flight attendant;
1)    In your 20th year, male or female, and under 50 years,
2)    Ability to speak and read English to Level 3 minimum,
3)    Minimum high/middle school education,
4)    No visible tattoos when wearing a uniform,
5)    Minimum and maximum height requirements, proportionate to weight,
6)    No physical impairments that will affect your ability to do the job.
7)    Ability to swim 75 feet fully clothed,
8)    Ability to pass a full medical.
9)    No criminal record
10) Current passport and two pieces of alternate identification.

If you possess the required qualifications, then you are ready to pursue a course of study to become a flight attendant.

SPECIAL NOTE - Flight attendants trained to JAR Regulations standards, are accepted by over 92% of world airlines

WHY CHOOSE OUR PROGRAMS?

A few major airlines operate their own schools for individuals they hire. These airline in-house programs build upon training the potential new hire has already received from an outside aviation training center. It is important then, that the potential new flight attendant choose a course from a reputable established firm, that teaches their courses to JAR EU operational standards, which will then, after successful completion, provide the student a favourable position with airline hiring departments.

Beware of training schools or online programs who teach to other standards (ICAO, FAA, DOT, IATA etc) or who accept lower qualifications. You will NOT BE HIRED by airlines when you are trained by these sources.

Globally, there are very very few reputable training programs teaching to JAR EU ops standards. Online, there are even less if any at all. Most training centers and on line programs teach to ICAO standards, which is not enough for the graduate student to secure a job.

Only one firm, International Aviation Academies Inc., operates both fixed based training schools; in Canada, the Middle East (SHARJAH), and Malaysia (agency); as well as in-depth on-line programs, with training done to JAR EU Operational standards (GCAA TC, ACAA, CAA). Our academies train both new flight attendants, as well as do recurrency training for experienced staff from our client airlines.

Regardless of which program you choose, at one of our schools or on-line, upon your successful completion and possession of a recognized diploma, you are ready to work for or enter almost any airline training program worldwide.

ON LINE TRAINING PROGRAM

While our ACADEMY training facilities offer a four week intensive program for new flight attendants featuring a full four week live in program, cost/financial limitations exclude most students from attending. With this in mind, we explored various possibilities to make this career opportunity available to everyone who has the qualifications and desire, and as a result, we developed our ON LINE TRAINING PROGRAM, which is NOW in full operation.

With the need to deliver a full GENERIC program at a reduced cost thereby making this glamorous and profitable career available to everyone who qualifies, we have taken the first portion of our in house program and developed an INTENSIVE ON-LINE TRAINING PROGRAM that trains the student to the same standards, in a home environment, at a mere fraction of the costs.

Using an intuitive advanced audio/video/slide program, with a downloaded training manual, you are guided through the program with the same instructional support you would receive were you on site at one of our schools.

Upon successful completion of the on line program, complete with sectional exams and final testing, you will receive a diploma from a recognized training center, attesting to your graduation from the FLIGHT ATTENDANT TRAINING PROGRAM to JAR EU Ops standards.

Students, after successful completion of the online GENERIC program, then have the option of entering the workforce, or attending one of our academies to do a 3 week full AIRCRAFT SPECIFIC program, after which, we place you in a job with one of our client airlines.

Take a moment to read through the ABOUT US and the ABOUT THE PROGRAM sections of our website to learn more; then REGISTER and take the first step to achieving your goals of being a flight attendant.

FLIGHT TRAINING

Through our academies in Canada, Bolivia and the UAE we offer prospective aviators, the opportunity to earn their private through to commercial pilots licenses, enabling them to earn a living flying.

Our academy in the UAE offers flight training to JAR Standards; in Canada to Transport Canada curriculum, and in Bolivia to American FAA standards. All programs are offered in English language ONLY.

The costs associated with learning to flying and then advancing to a commercial rating to allow you to work and earn as a pilot, are very expensive, in many cases well in excess of $100,000. With this in mind, we have endeavoured to make flight training more affordable and more accessible to all students regardless of nationality.

In this regard, we have taken the ground school portion of PRIVATE PILOTS LICENSE training, and put it on an interactive web program. In academy programs, all testing is done on multiple choice questions, so in essence a student can 'guess' at the correct answer. In the online portion, ALL answers are written responsess by the student, which are then graded by a qualified ground school instructor.

This procedure accomplishes two objectives; First and most important, it tells us if the student actually KNOWS the answer, rather than taking  guess. Secondly, by studying the students response, we can determine his/her level of English language skills that must be to ICAO Level 4 before obtaining their license.

Academy programs for all phases of flight training, to the point where you are ready to earn a living flying, range from $90,000usd up to as high as $140,000usd, and can take up to 18 months to complete.

Our FAST-TRACK program, is presented on the basis of you having taken the online ground school first, then attending at one of our academies for the balance of ground school and flight training. This then, allows us to process a student through the program all the way up to their 230 hour requirement for a Commercial rating, in 5 months, 150 days.

Our academy program includes everything you need to achieve your license including transportation to the base, visas, all class room supplies, flight time with and without an instructor, modern flight simulators, accommodation and meals, as well as medicals and government testing.

Your ONLINE PPL ground school includes all your training manuals and materials, including mechanical and hand held navigation tools, sent to you via DHL, FEDEX or UPS once you register. Contact sales@contractpilots.tc for a full list of course materials supplied.
